John Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on November 16, 2025, at the age of 75, John Smith of Middleburgh, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Smith, (Nacy) and John F. Smith, Sr.; his sister Sadie; his sister-in-law Anna Wood; and his nephew Steven Wood.

He is survived by: his wife Theresa Smith (Willwerth); his son John Smith, Jr.; his great-nephew Stuart Wood; and his close friends, John Waldron and Ingraham.
