As Patrick departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Patrick may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Patrick leaves behind.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bridget Kelly; his sons, Andrew Gilchrist (Susan) of Cobleskill and Patrick Gilchrist Jr. (Jennifer) of Norwalk, CT; his grandchildren, Aidan, Connor, Ryan, Brendan and Keira Gilchrist; and his half-sisters, Anne and Christine.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church (111 Wells Ave, Middleburgh, NY 12122). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
