With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Raymond Kennedy Jr. of Middleburgh, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 16, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Erma Kennedy, (Springstead) and Raymond E. Kennedy, Sr.; his son Alan R. Hanson; and his son-in-law Leland "Bog" Diamond. He is survived by: his wife Winifred Kennedy (Shaul) of Middleburgh; his children, Marilyn "Mert" Diamond of Schoharie, Celeste Parslow (Christopher) of Schoharie, Raelyn Mercer (Marc) of Middleburgh and William Hanson (JoAnn) of Conesville; his grandchildren, Brian Diamond, Jason Diamond, Heather Gasner, Megan Hanson, Nathan Parslow, Kylie Parslow-Bradt, Connor Parslow-Bradt, Braedon Cronin, Riley Cronin, Alan M. Hanson, Matthew Hanson, Shyla Hanson, Dustin Hanson, Rose Mercer and Trevor Mercer; his great grandchildren, Brianna, Lexi Diamond, Hallie, William Gasner, Malina Lambert, Kaylee Fink, Loretta Hanson, Serena Hanson, Sidney Hanson, Georgia Hanson, Kiersten and Alan Hanson; and his sisters, Marilyn Kellie of Cobleskill and Bonnie Bywater of Cobleskill.
