She was predeceased by : her husband Olavi "Nick" Niskanen; her sister Jean Gesselli; her brothers-in-law, Leo Edward Niskanen and Eugene Gesselli; her nieces, Terri Gesselli Goordineer and Carolyn Gesselli Mullholland; and her nephew Mark Makipuro.
She is survived by : her daughters, Geri White, Linda Zaicek and Mary Prisco; her sons-in-law, Tom White, Glenn Zaicek and Greg Prisco; her grandchildren, Natasha Zaicek, Amanda Moreau, Glenn Zaicek, Jr., Nicholas Zaicek and Carson White; her great grandchildren, Anthony Zaicek, Angelina Gomez, Greyson Moreau, Hudson Moreau, Eila Moreau, Angelo Rodriguez and Arianna Rodriguez; her great great grandchild Aviani Castillo; her siblings-in-law, Eila Makipuro of Willimantic, CT, Jeanette Niskanen of Niantic, CT, Shelly Niskanen of Hamton, CT, Paul Niskanen of Hamton, CT and Hannu Makipuro of Wilimantic, CT; her nieces and nephews, Robert Gesselli, Denise Gesselli-Yap, Anthony Gesselli, Maritta Makipuro, Amy Niskanen Richter, Eric Niskanen and Alan Niskanen; and her pet Guiding Eyes.
