It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine B. Richards of Middleport, New York, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, J. Elmore Black and Dorothy H. Black (Sommer); her husband Walter B. Richards; her brother Donald E. Black (W. Elaine); her nephew Brian Black; and her niece Donna Siegel.

She is survived by : her children, Ross W. Richards (Lisa) of Lockport and Marguerite E. Richards of Middleport; and her grandsons, Aaron, Aidan and Ethan Richards.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home (215 W Center St, Medina, NY 14103). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (1990 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14208).

Memorial donations in Dr. Richards' memory may be made to either the Erie or Niagara County SPCA.
