She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Whitehurst and Muriel Leggett Whitehurst; and her husband Edwin "Ned" Skinner Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Edwin Skinner Jr. (Bethany) of Galway and Beverly Mohr of Waterford; her grandchildren, Kirsten Wolf, Sara Cichy (Ryan), Bradley Skinner (Alicia), Kayleigh Mohr and Sydney Hathaway (Noah); and her great grandchildren, Chase, Braden Skinner, Lauryn Cichy, Olivia Wolf and Everett Krauss.
