She was predeceased by: her husband William Brockett; her sons, Steven (Doreen), Brian (Alice) and Randy (Sherri); her grandchildren, Megan (Tim), William (Marion) and Kasey (Michele); her stepgrandchildren, Brice and Meghan Smith; her great grandchildren, Joan, Luke, Isaac, Izayis, Jaylen, Gage and Albert Jr.; her siblings, Maureen Stanfield, Frank, Mary Stanfield, Cathy Lipsky, Nancy Stanfield and James Stanfield (Kayo); her brother-in-law Bernie Lipsky; and her daughter-in-law Tammy Woods Brockett. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home (130 Highland Ave, Middletown, NY 10940). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (90 Euclid Ave, Middletown, NY 10940). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery (111 Craigville Rd, Goshen, NY 10924).
Her contributions to society included organizing backpack drives for the Head Start program, touching the lives of countless children in her community.
