He was predeceased by: his father Roy; his sister Marjorie; his mother Evelyn; and his brother Roger. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Krista Gallagher (Scott) and Douglas Hutchings Jr.; and his sister Carol Ann Renwick (Steve). He is also survived by his many in laws, nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home (130 Highland Ave, Middletown, NY 10940). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jesus Catholic Church (45 Highland Ave, Otisville, NY 10963).
