With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Waizenegger of Middletown, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2026 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Waizenegger and Shirley Elman Waizenegger; his wife Loretta Rice Waizenegger; and his siblings, Billy Waizenegger and Gail Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Sherrie Waizenegger (Christopher Clark) of Middletown and Mark Waizenegger (Autumn) of Newport, TN; his granddaughter Sara Pilon; his siblings, Bruce Waizenegger (Alayna) of Greenville, Pamela Ippolito (John) of Middletown, Sherrie Shawy of White Plains and Wayne Waizenegger of Port Jervis; and his sister-in-law Maggie Waizenegger of Port Jervis. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be considered to the Middletown Elks Lodge #1097 or the Phoenix Engine Company #4 both of Middletown.
