She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Brooks and Helen Brooks (Coyne); and her siblings, John Brooks, Gregory Books, Nora Gray and Anne Watkins.
She is survived by: her son Steven Slezak (Valerie) of Knoxville, TN; her sisters, Monica Brooks of Harriman, NY and Catherine Boyd of Barnegat, NJ; and her granddaughter Kenna Slezak. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
