It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Murns of Middletown, New York, born in Monticello, New York, who passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Murns and Mignonne Murns; and his brothers, Howard Murns, Bill Murns, Richard Murns and Edgar Murns.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Murns; his children, Kimberly Reed, Bernadette Miller and Joel William Murns; his grandchildren, Rebecca Tonic, Thomas Reed, Alyssa Reed, Skye DeMasi, Christopher A. Sugrim-Miller, Emma Miller, Joshua Eddy, Adrianna Eddy, Rachel Eddy, Carrigan Murns, Fiona Murns and Joel Richard Murns; and his siblings, Eugene Murns, Raymond Murns, Janette Ross and Darlene Cagle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
