It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith I. Gallagher of Middletown, New York, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Judith had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Judith may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward and Margaret Larson; and her grandson Oliver Iverson. She is survived by: her husband William M. Gallagher; her daughters, Karen E. Gallagher-Iverson (Andrew) of Oakland, CA, Susan M. Gallagher of Middletown and Eileen M. Gallagher (Sean Fotis) of Chicago, IL; her granddaughters, Lillian, Justine Iverson and Cecelia Fotis; and her siblings, Linda Larson Brooks of Valrico, FL and Alfred Larson (Gail) of Chuluota, FL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (391 Mt Hope Rd, Middletown, NY 10940).
