It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Catherine Bernaski of Middletown, New York, who passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Francis and Jeanette Kelleher Duffy; her husband Edward Bernaski; and her brother Charles Francis Duffy Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Michele Smith (Thomas), Richard Bernaski (Bonnie) of Middletown and Mary Jo McComb (Michael) of Smyrna, Georgia.; and her grandchildren, Ryan Bernaski (Jennifer), Lauren Law (Ben), Bryan Smith (Chelsea), Christopher Smith (Lauren), Nicole Sikes (Stephen), MacKenzie McComb and Tyler McComb. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (90 Euclid Ave, Middletown, NY 10940). A burial will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (149 Cottage St, Middletown, NY 10940).
