He is survived by: his former wife Audrey Rhymer; his wife Marie Rhymer; his sisters, Mildred Hodge, Adina Jones, Daisy Henley and Belsadys Donovan; and his children, Annette Rattray (David), Deborah Rhymer, Kenneth L. Rhymer (Laurie), Julian Rhymer, Norbert Gregory Rhymer and Denys James Rhymer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
