It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard W Green Jr. (Middletown, New York), born in Port Jervis, New York, who passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Green and Alberta Green; his mother-in-law Renate Sorice; and his sister Cheryl Bingley. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Green; his siblings, Steven Green (Dawn) and Valarie Poynton (Todd); his brother-in-law Robert Bingley; his father-in-law John Ackerson; and his sisters-in-law, Danielle and Brooke Sorice. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home (130 Highland Ave, Middletown, NY 10940). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Middletown Humane Society in his name.
