With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard L. Paffenroth of Middletown, New York, born in Pine Island, New York, who passed away on April 12, 2022 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard L. Paffenroth to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Paffenroth and Lydia Miller Paffenroth; his siblings, Emma Paffenroth, Esther Felker, Hilda LaMontagne, Lydia Tiefenbacher, Virginia Kirczow, Janet Longcore, Sam and Milton Paffenroth; and his son-in-law William Holmes.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Warren Paffenroth; his daughters, Jacqueline Oliver (Stanley), Patricia Holmes (William) and Elaine Lopez (Dennis); and his brother Robert of Charlotte, N. C.. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations can be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, the Alzheimer's Assn. or St. John's Lutheran Church.
