He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Perlongo and Barbara Perlongo; and his siblings, Joseph Perlongo and Lynn Perlongo. He is survived by: his children, Kaitlyn Perlongo, Delaney Perlongo and Riannon Perlongo; and his stepchildren, Katelyn Mapes, Riley Mapes and Brogan Mapes.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home (130 Highland Ave, Middletown, NY 10940).
Richard was also a proud member of the Port Jervis Elks Lodge, where he valued the sense of community, charity, camaraderie and brotherly love the organization provided.
