It is with sadness that the passing of Thomas Buckheit in Middletown, New York is shared. Thomas, born on July 18, 1940, passed away on August 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Thomas will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Thomas by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Thomas is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Thomas’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He is survived by: his wife Marietta (Renee); his daughters, Cassandra Cardinal (Chris), Kate Sheedy (Ronan) and Kristen Lewis (Richard); and his sister Jane Lloyd (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Inc. Funeral Home (26 Grove St, Middletown, NY 10940). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (90 Euclid Ave, Middletown, NY 10940).
