He is survived by: his parents, Lauretta Benson Colgan and James Colgan; his grandmother Marie Colgan; his sisters, Maggie Smykla (Nick), Kaitlyn McCormick (Pat) and Molly Troisi (Perry); his nephews, Patrick, Nicholas, Charlie, MacKinnon and Declan; and his pet Waldo. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Applebee McPhillips Funeral Home (130 Highland Ave, Middletown, NY 10940).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
