She was predeceased by: her parents, Kalle Ekonen and Tyyne Kuusinen Ekonen. She is survived by: her children, Teuvo Lahtinen (Maryann) of Monroe, David Lahtinen (Carol) of Monroe and Irene Lahtinen of Middletown. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
