She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Sands; and her sister Barbara. She is survived by: her children, Russel Sands (Gina) and Sherri Mariani (Frank); her grandchildren, Michael, Branden, Jacqueline and Brittany; and her sibling Barrow Marks.
