Duane M. Stephens Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duane M. Stephens of Minetto, New York, who passed away on December 5, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Duane may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Duane touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanford Mead and Mildred Stephens (Day); and his sister Julanne S. Willis. He is survived by: his significant other Marilyn Stephens (Cole); and his children, Alan Stephens (Kris), Cheryl Hotchkiss (late Edward) and Yvonne Stephens (Tracy). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 8 nieces and 4 nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Minetto United Methodist Church (2433 County Rte 8, Oswego, NY 13126). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the United Methodist Church, Minetto, NY, in memory of Duane M. Stephens.
