We announce the death of Mary D. Rhodes of Kirkville, New York, who passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 77. Mary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Mary will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Mary’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Duguid and Eila Duguid; and her siblings, Charles "Chuck" Duguid and Jane Brooks. She is survived by: her daughter Danielle Schermerhorn (Paul); her grandchildren, Ashleigh Schermerhorn and Matthew Schermerhorn; and her siblings, Patricia Pratt (Bruce) and Ian Duguid (Lynn). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the R. H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel (6530 Schepps Corners Rd, Minoa, NY 13116).
