She was predeceased by: her husband Ricardo A. Baptista; her parents, Amadeu Ramos and Anna Ramos; her sister Adazinda; and her daughter-in-law Cathleen Baptista.
She is survived by: her sons, Amadeu Baptista, Ricardo Baptista (Donna) and Daniel Baptista (Angela); her grandchildren, Ricardo, Nicole, Rebecca, Zachary and Marissa; and her great grandchildren, Julia and Logan.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home (100 Elton-Adelphia Rd, Freehold Township, NJ 07728). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (118 W Main St, Freehold Township, NJ 07728). A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Woodbridge Memorial Gardens (US Highway 1 North, Woodbridge, NJ 08830).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Maria's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
