Edward Gay Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Gay Sr. of Mohawk, New York, born in Little Falls, New York, who passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Edward is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Edward's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie; his son John; his parents, William Gay and Jennie Gay; Vanessa Havener.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Gay of Herkimer and Mellissa; Rod Pierce (Kathy) of San Antonio, Cindy Stark (Norm) of Cold Brook and Mark Mikus of Mohawk. He is also survived by nieces, and son-in-law.
A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mohawk Cemetery.
