He is survived by: his parents, Henry Quackenbush and Marguerite Quackenbush (Schoonmaker) of Herkimer; his wife Dorothy Hardish; his daughter-in-law Susan Quackenbush (McMurray) of Rochester; and his close friend Gail Griffin of Richfield Springs. He is also survived by his parents and wife, and survived by his son.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Enea Family Funeral Home (4309 Acme Rd, Ilion, NY 13357). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery West German. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association (http://www.alz.org).
