She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Simmons and Dorothy Simmons (Mott); her husband Jack; and her brothers, Carl Simmons (Rejean), Dale Simmons and Gerald Simmons.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Ashline (Steven) of Malone, Dottie Gokey (Brett) of Bangor and Jack Garland of Bangor; her grandchildren, Jake Gokey (Tiffany), Neil Gokey (Madison Carr), Tyler Ashline (Sarah), Trevor Ashline and Logan Garland; her great grandchildren, Natalee and Addison Gokey; her sister Helen Garland (William) of North Bangor; and her sister-in-law Sylvia Simmons of New Albany, Mississippi. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Memorial contributions in Grace's memory may be made to the North Bangor Fire & EMS or to the Alice Ballard Hospice Fund.
