It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John L. Cox I. (Moira, New York), born in Malone, New York, who passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. He was predeceased by : his parents, Owen Cox and Dolores Cox (Lamica); his wife Anna Perry; and his siblings, Lorena Gero, Jean Cox, Marcel Cox and Owen Cox, Jr..

He is survived by : his siblings, Dean Cox (Donna) of Brushton, Randy Cox (Diane) of Bangor, Vickey Terry of Paducah Kentucky and Lisa Dillabough of Brushton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Flint Funeral Home (8 NY-95, Moira, NY 12957). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
