He is survived by: his wife Grace Simmons; his children, Karen Ashline (Steven) of Malone, Dottie Gokey (Brett) of Bangor and Jack Garland of Bangor; his grandchildren, Jake Gokey (Tiffany), Neil Gokey (Madison Carr), Tyler Ashline (Sarah), Trevor Ashline and Logan Garland; his great grandchildren, Natalee and Addison Gokey; his siblings, William Garland (Helen) of Westville, Bruce Garland (Sharon) of Westville, Peggy Rouselle of Champlain and Jane Soucia of Burke; and his sister-in-law Hallie Garland of Duane.
