Robert James Gary Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2025, at the age of 85, Robert James Gary (Moira, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Gary and Edith B. Gary (Sweet); his daughter Tammy Sue; his great grandchild Preston Charlebois; his sister Polly Sturgen; and his sisters-in-law, Peggy Newtown and Marjorie Bellows.
He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Alexis Gary, Chase, Ella, Addie Charlebois, Kaisleigh, Teagan Gary and Weston Robideau; his sisters, Teresa Pelkey (Dick) of Amenia, Rita Honsinger (Bill) of New Hartford and Mary Ferguson (Sam) of New Port Richey, Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Stewart Sturgen of Moira, Roger Allen (Charlotte) of Brushton, Dale Allen of Brushton and Eleanor Gale of Moira. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Flint Funeral Home (8 NY-95, Moira, NY 12957). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
