He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Mapes and Mildred Mapes (Benjamin). He is survived by: his wife Kim Mapes of Monroe, NY; his children, Jamie Mapes of Albany, NY and Julie Fitch (James) of Brooklyn, NY; his cousins, Richard, William, John and Jerry Mainey; his mother-in-law Jane Tirrell of Chatham, MA; and also, Peter, Robert, Wendy, Greta and Kristina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush Funeral Home (117 Maple Ave, Monroe, NY 10950).
