It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth A. Smith (Monroe, New York), who passed away on January 16, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Elizabeth leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Chiarini and Dorothy Chiarini (Lombino); and her husband Alan D. Smith. She is survived by: her children, Peter J. Smith of Monroe, NY and Cynthia E. McHugh (Michael) of Monroe, NY; and her granddaughter Ashley McHugh.
