She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Fillmore and Katherine Fillmore (O'Connell); her great-grandparent Ellen "Ella" Fillmore (Horton); her sisters, Nancy Cromwell (Bud) and Margaret Feely (Claude); her husband Harold Kenneth Schmidt Sr.; and her granddaughter Samantha Ann Fraser (Luce).
She is survived by: her children, Roseland Park, Seabreeze, Charlotte, Mendon Ponds Park, Patricia Schmidt, Kimberly Schmidt, Harry Schmidt (Debbie) and Kevin Schmidt (Kendra Bryan); her grandchildren, Kelly Caruso (James), Katie Reynolds, Randi Birkin (Wayne), Webster Luce (Ashleigh), Cyndy Windhauser (Paul), Danny Schmidt (Kim), Stephanie Buza (Byron), Amber Hunt (Maurice) and Kirsten Schmidt (Andrew Haskins); and her great grandchildren, Austin, Anthony, Joshua, Brooklyn, Chloe, Kayne, Jovi, Nicholas, Makenzie, Olivia, Taylar, Wyatt, Tyler, Eric, Lydia, Amiliya, Sage, Ivy, Benjamin, Amanda and Jessica. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services (777 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home (777 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612).
