He was predeceased by: his parents, Brooklyn Murray (Earl Theodore Moore) and Arline Stewart Murray; his stepmother Nancy; and his brother Peter. He is survived by: his daughter Heather of Orangetown; and his siblings, Earl (Linda) of Gloucester, VA and Arline of Westerville, OH..
