He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Elizabeth Cook and Charles Bartels; and his wife Eileen Hoffman Bartels. He is survived by: his son Kevin S. Bartels (Erika) of Monroe, NY; his sister Vicki Bartels of Bronx, NY; his niece Pam Weissman-Sloves; and his nephew Marc Weissman.
