She was predeceased by: her son Stamatis "Steve" Venetos (Steve); her mother Yiayia (Peggy); and her sisters, Elizabeth Mestousis and Theodora Poulos (Michael). She is survived by: her husband John Venetos; her children, Kalliope "Kelly" Maris (James), George Venetos (Elpida) and Dimitria "Debbie" Leakas (Spero); her grandchildren, Pat Maris (Irene), John Maris (Elena), Dimitria Kukulka (Artur), Theodore Leakas, Athena Venetos, Yanni Leakas, Patia Venetos and Voula Leakas; her great grandchildren, Anna Maris, Kalliope Maris, Artur Kukulka and Kalliope Kukulka; her siblings, Despina Res (Aldo), Mary Kroll (Richard), Irini Eckes (Chuck) and Peter Res; and her siblings-in-law, Markellos Mestousis, Thomas Venetos and Maria Mestousis.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home (728 W Nyack Rd, West Nyack, NY 10994). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church (1 Marycrest Rd, West Nyack, NY 10994). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Rockland Cemetery (201 Kings Hwy, Sparkill, NY 10976).
