He is survived by: his sister Kristine; his nieces, Kristine, Krystal, Stephanie and Kara; his children, Edwin Benson Jr. (Tina), Michael John Benson, Jai Dolores Benson Phillips, Brian William Benson (Danielle) and Barry Michael Benson (Jen); and his grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany (Josh), Cora, Victoria, Cole, Cody, Kaylee, Michael, Reilly, Aidan, Erin, Emily, Brenna, Baylee, Neal, Danielle, Jen, Carol, Bonnie, Sam, Mary, Richie, Krissy, John Kn, Jimmy, Johan, Jeffrey, Steve, Dan, Roger, Eddie, Lance, Jason, Joey, Jill, Kenney, Mark P. and Alan.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 42 Wallkill Ave, Montgomery, NY 12549.
