It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Mastandrea of Montgomery, New York, who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elizabeth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Lehmann and Elizabeth Lehmann (Eberhardt); her husband Alfred Mastandrea; her brother William Lehmann; and her daughter-in-law Linda Mastandrea (Bossolina).
She is survived by: her children, Linda Hendon (William) of Bloomingburg, NY, Nancy Hernandez (Luis) of Dover, DE, William Mastandrea of Warwick, NY and Bettyann Barron (Robert) of Montgomery, NY; and her grandsons, Bill Mastandrea (Amandine Flammang), Peter Barron and Philip Barron. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
