Glenn Schoonmaker Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on December 19, 2025, at the age of 88, Glenn Schoonmaker of Montgomery, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Glenn's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Schoonmaker and Madolyn Schoonmaker (Crapser); his wife Linda Goldsmith; and his brothers, Gerald and Paul Schoonmaker.

He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Leslie (Scott) of Tennessee and Barbara Sutton (Guy) of Pennsylvania; and his granddaughter Michelle Cooney. He is also survived by many loving in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

It was Glenn's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to First Presbyterian Church of Montgomery, NY.
