He was predeceased by: his father Harold Thompson; and his daughter Jenifer Elizabeth Simondi. He is survived by: his wife Denise Ramirez; his sons, James Jr. (Helen) and Daniel (Taylor); his mother Marjorie Thompson Sherwood (Orion); and his siblings, Dave (Melanie), Paul (Aun), Carol Hale (Brad) and Mary English.
