It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Timothy Michael Timke (Montgomery, New York), born in Middletown, New York, who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Timke and Janet E. Schmidt Timke; his stepfather John Schmidt (Hap); and his former wife Susan B. Timke. He is survived by: his wife Tracy Upchurch Kohler; his sons, Timothy Timke Jr. and James Timke (Nicole); his stepchildren, Lars Kohler and Cassandra Garitta (Michael); his grandchildren, Tiahana, Paizleigh May, James Jr. Timke, Liliana Garitta, Emmett Garitta, Holdyn Kohler, Andrew and Eric Schmeiser; and his siblings, Leo Timke (Michelle), George Timke (Trish), Christopher Schmidt (Kerri) and Jan Timke Vaughan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Overhiser Funeral Home (78 Union St, Montgomery, NY 12549). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mary Church (89 Union St, Montgomery, NY 12549).
