She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilsey "Bud" Brochu and Dolores LaTourrette; her husband Herbert W Avery; her son Bruce N Avery; and her brother James P Brochu.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Avery (Lisa Gardener) of Spokane, WA. and Sue Ellen (Howie Goldsmith); and her grandchildren, Mathew Goldsmith of Mongaup Valley, NY and Allie Goldsmith of Boston, MA. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
