Leon O. Updike Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2025, at the age of 86, Leon O. Updike of Montour Falls, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leon Updike and Clara Updike (Bristol); his siblings, Alton Updike (Genevieve), Charlotte Forsterling and Clarabelle Decker; and his brothers-in-law, LaRue and Richard Freeman.
He is survived by: his children, Rene'Greuber (Jeffrey), Julee Ferreira (Randy), Curtis Updike (Tracy) and Tammy Updike (Sarah); his sister Christine "Kit" Freeman; and his brother-in-law Vernon Forsterling (Anna Benson). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Olthof Funeral Home (1050 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira, NY 14904). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
