Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home (122 N Genesee St, Montour Falls, NY 14865). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dirk's name to the Schuyler County Humane Society.
