He was predeceased by: his father Charles A. Hayes. He is survived by: his mother Ruth O. Hayes; and his siblings, Susan Hayes (Douglas Miles), Stephen Hayes and Michael Hayes (Patricia). He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews and many cousins.
