With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christa Nora Chabala (Montrose, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Hilda and Heinrich; and her sisters, Ruth and Inga. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Chabala; her daughter Laura; her grandchildren, Brittany, Nicholas, Alexander and Adam; her great grandchildren, Heidi, Jacob and Sienna; her grandchildren, Christina (Jay) and Brian (Cara); and her great grandchildren, Joseph and Gianna.
