He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward S. Eagens, Jr. and Luella Risk Eagens; his wife Marie Theresa Eagens (Antunes); his sisters, Barbara Eagens Sabato and Beatrice Eagens Fiorio; his nephew Jim Fiorio; and his grandson James D. Eagens.
He is survived by: his son Christopher of South Carolina; and his brothers, Thomas (Mary) of North Carolina and Joseph. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
