He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred (Beatrice LaValley) and Andrew (Lorraine Burleigh); his in-laws, Ernest and Marcella Barcomb; his siblings, Margaret Page, Joan LaCount and Alex Burleigh; his brothers-in-law, Russell LaCount, James Page, Donald, Robert Shaw, Francis Smith and Lloyd Dicksonand; his niece Jennifer Barcomb; Jaidyn Bigelow.
He is survived by: his significant other Tammy Barcomb; his children, Brad Burleigh and Alicia Burleigh; his siblings, Paul LaValley (Nancy), Robert, Peter, Andrew Burleigh, Beverly Lamberton (James), Ruby Garrand (Leon), Marilyn Lacount (David), Norma Begor (Larry), Rosemary Lamarche, Carol Rabideau and Mary Burleigh; and his siblings-in-law, Ernest Barcomb Jr., Dale Barcomb (Diana), Dianna Shaw, Susan Shaw, Betty Smith and Laurie Garlock (Roger). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, very close and dear friends.
The family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Elmore SPCA in Peru, NY, to honor George's passion for animals and support those in need.
