Sandra Sample Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Sample of Mooers Forks, New York, who passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elricka Lamberton (Frenyea) and Austin Lamberton; her sister Janice Sargeant; her sisters-in-law, Almira and Janet Lamberton; her stepsiblings, Harold (Trudy), Donald Lamberton (Irene) and Evelyn Richards (Larry); and her siblings-in-law, Donald Rabideau, David, Jr., Bruce, George, Roger Sample, Norma Rabideau and Denise Sample.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Taylor (Michael), Jacob (Rebecca), Jordan, Kalie (Nicholas), Abbie (Nico), Marlie, Jack and Maggie; her husband Alton "Ally" Sample; and her siblings, Robert, Harry, James Lamberton (Beverly), Betty Duquette (Lucien) and Carol Hamilton (Walter). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in Sandy's memory may be made to the Mooers Fire Department or St. Ann's Church.
