He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lewis Sanchagrin and Bernice Laura Aubrey Sanchagrin; his former wife Judy Eve Sanchagrin; and his siblings, Albert Sanchagrin, Mike Sanchagrin, Dolores Smith and Pat Babbie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kelley Sue Vanderkleed (Jerry), Tonya Eve Powell (Warren) and Tyese Bernice Mayer (Dan); his wife Nancy Anderson Lazenby; his grandchildren, Devyn, Jeff, Jordan, Grace, Brandon, Madison and Lexi; and his sister Cathy Sanchagrin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Mooers Wesleyan Church (149 Maple St, Mooers, NY 12958).
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to The Mooers Camp Meeting Association in Art's honor to continue its ministry and mission.
